Virtual Symposium

I did my virtual symposium as a narrated slide show through Power Point. I have touched on many of the concepts that I am taking away from this class and are putting to use in my library. Please note that anything in orange and underlined is an active hyperlink to something mentioned in the presentation. Thank you to @michael @futuregreta @abenford @hcanfield for suggestions on getting it to post.

  1. Lisa,
I loved getting to know you better. Taking it to the streets was a great idea! Especially for the people attending because they got to walk around and check out Ithaca. Working in a small library sounds cozy and warm and the best part is you are working with “family”. Thanking you for sharing!

    1. @karen – Thank you 🙂 I enjoyed your posts as well. The conference ended up being really cool and we were lucky enough to get good weather that day. We had umbrellas lined up just in case and a van and driver to help with people who had mobility issues. Our library is unique for sure and it is really a family atmosphere. All the best in the future.

  2. Lisa! This conference center-less conference is the definition of Learning Everywhere! I love the title of the conference and the creativity to turn the obstacles into something vibrant that incorporates the whole city.
